Picmovia privacy policy

This policy explains how the free, locally processed version of Picmovia works. The site operator should verify the published contact and business information before launching.

Photos, audio and videos

Photos and music you select are processed in your browser’s memory. This version has no media-upload API that sends personal files to Picmovia servers and does not keep a server copy of generated videos. The finished result is offered as a local download. Refreshing the page discards your unsaved project.

Hosting technical logs

Like most websites, hosting services may retain IP addresses, time of access, requested URLs, device information and security logs. Retention depends on the hosting provider and must be checked by the site operator.

Video rendering library

When MP4 rendering is requested, the browser loads the Mediabunny JavaScript library from jsDelivr CDN. The connection may expose ordinary network information such as IP address to that CDN. The app does not send photos, audio or text to that provider.

Optional Google Analytics

Picmovia uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-3K2M6TXR9X) only after you allow optional analytics. Google Analytics is not loaded before consent. Once permitted, it measures page views and generic tool events such as adding photos, choosing music, previewing, starting an export, failures and downloads. We do not send personal names, photos, project titles, messages, filenames or music in event parameters. Google may process technical browsing data under its own policies.

Your choices

A local browser storage value may remember your analytics preference. Use the Preferences control to revise it. To remove analytics cookies from an earlier visit, you may also need to clear the website cookies in your browser.

Contact and applicable laws

For privacy requests please use the contact details on the Contact page. Applicable privacy obligations may differ depending on where the site operator and visitors are located. This page is not a substitute for legal review of a live service.
